Berthoud Pass is a mighty pass famous in the history of the Old West and the Pioneers. For centurie3s it has been chief portal thru the great white range; the only accessible gateway for the North Section of Colorado. Used by the Indians for ages past; then by the pioneers with pack teams and ox teams and now by the automobilist following a splendid mountain boulevard recently constructed by the federal government.
