A delightful circle trip from Estes Park leads along the North End Road with beautiful panoramas of the peaks and ranges to Devil's Gulch and Glen Haven to follow the north fork of the Thompson through rugged canons and deep valleys to the Forks where return to Estes can be made by U.S. 34 and the road up the main canon of the Thompson.

I'm writing in pencil as we can't keep the ink in our pens because of the altitude.

Dear Folks,

Just finished dinner here in Estes Park. We arrived in Denver at 8:30 Mountain Time 10:30 your time. They rushed us right to our private cars & we started for Estes Park. The Rockies are beautiful although the guide says we have only seen foot hills as yet. I think he's just braging.
