THE BEAR LAKE ROAD is one of the world’s most scenic highways. Leaving Estes Park the road winds toward the Front Range thru groves of quaking aspens and forests of pine, spruce, and fir populated by deer and elk, to terminate at Bear Lake at the foot of magnificent Hallett’s Peak.

We are having a wonderful time. The drive to Bear Lake was beautiful. Seems so funny to see the snow on the Mts in July. Every day we have made some interesting drive. Tomorrow we are going to Denver.
